CNC Lathe Setter

My client is a well - known, respected company in the Steel industry in the Dudley area and we are offering a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter.

Salary: £15 to £18 an hour dependent on experience
Working Hours: 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday 7am to 12pm Friday

Duties for CNC Lathe Setter include:

• Produce steel parts to a high quality
• Change tips and parts for CNC Lathes
• Read from basic engineering drawings
• Set and Operate CNC Machines 
• Quality check parts produced
• Work in a team environment

Experience required for CNC Setter:

• Engineering / machine shop apprenticeship served or equivalent background preferred
• 3 plus years experience setting and operating CNC Machines
