FLT Driver

Job Title: FLT Driver (Night Shift)
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating (2days (7am-7pm) and 2 nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay Rate: £14.33 per hour (Overtime paid £19.04p/h)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (after 12 weeks)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier in Trafford Park. This is a 4 on 4 off shift role in a fast-paced warehouse environment, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading goods
• Moving stock within the warehouse using Reach and Counterbalance trucks
• Picking, packing, and staging orders
• Carrying out routine equipment checks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures and site policies

Requirements:

• Valid Reach Truck Licence (not essential)
• Valid Counterbalance Licence (essential)
• Experience driving Double Pallet Forklifts (preferable but training can be provided)
• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to work night shifts consistently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
