Production Operative

📍 Location: Winnall, Winchester

💷 Pay: £13.00 per hour

🕒 Hours: Ad hoc, week-by-week shifts – full-time hours may vary


 We are looking for a hands-on, reliable Production Operative to join our Operations team in Winchester (Winnall). This role offers flexible, ad hoc shifts scheduled on a weekly basis, perfect for someone who enjoys a varied, practical role in production.

 
What You’ll Do

 
 

• Manufacture and fill epoxy and acrylic adhesives
•  
• Label cartridges and manage production waste safely
•  
• Carry out maintenance checks on mixing equipment, presses, and compressors
•  
• Perform in-process quality checks and support QC improvements
•  
• Handle incoming raw materials and packaging (including storage and GRN logging)
•  
• Assist with stock takes and help the dispatch team during quieter production periods
•  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

 
What We’re Looking For

 
 

• At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing/production environment
•  
• NVQ in Engineering Maintenance or similar (desirable)
•  
• Full driving licence (required)
•  
• Forklift licence (desirable)
•  
• Good physical fitness – this is a hands-on, manually intensive role
•  
• A team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail
