Dispatch Operator

Duration: 8-week temporary contract


Pay Rate: £13.36 per hour


The Role:


Pertemps are currently recruiting dispatch Operators for an 8-week assignment. This role is responsible for coordinating the accurate and timely dispatch of products and equipment to healthcare facilities and clients, ensuring all deliveries meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.


Duties:


 

• Prepare, pick, pack, label, and verify outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Coordinate the dispatch of products to end users and equipment to healthcare facilities.

• Ensure all dispatch documentation is completed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.

• Monitor inventory levels and update dispatch records using warehouse management systems.

• Liaise with logistics providers to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and address any delays.

• Ensure compliance with handling requirements for sensitive and temperature-controlled products.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe dispatch area at all times.

• Promptly report any discrepancies, damages, or delivery issues.

• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.

 

 
 The Right candidate:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work to procedures and comply with regulatory standards.

• Basic IT skills and confidence using warehouse or inventory systems.

• Experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or healthcare logistics environment is desirable but not essential.
